How We Handle This

Your written warranty terms come with your estimate. Not after the deposit, not buried in a link, and not as a number shouted in an ad. You get to read exactly what is covered while you are still deciding whether to hire us, which is the only point at which that information is actually useful to you.

Here are our numbers, plainly: a 17-year warranty on interior floors and a 7-year warranty on exterior surfaces and pool decks, covering adhesion, the bond between the coating and your concrete. Coatings advertising is full of big round numbers with conditions nobody reads, so ours come with the full terms attached to every estimate. You can read exactly what those years mean while you are still deciding whether to hire us.

And one thing nobody else around here offers: the warranty transfers. If you sell the home, the remaining warranty conveys once to the new owner, just tell us in writing within 30 days of closing. The floor does not peel differently because the deed changed hands, so we see no reason the promise should die at the closing table. Your realtor gets to list it as a feature.

What We Cover

Our workmanship, and the bond between the coating and your concrete. If the system delaminates, peels, or lets go because of how we prepped the slab or installed the material, that is ours. We come back and fix it. The prep is the part we control most and it is the part that decides whether a floor lasts, so it is the part we are most willing to be held to.

What We Do Not Cover

Abuse, chemical spills outside normal use, and structural failure of the slab itself. A coating is a surface, not a structural repair. It follows the concrete underneath it, which means a slab that cracks or settles will telegraph through, and joints designed to move will keep moving. We tell you about this before we quote, not after you complain.

If your slab has a condition that limits what a coating can promise, you will hear it during the estimate. That is a better conversation to have on day one than on month fourteen.

Most of what shortens a coated floor's life is avoidable and none of it is difficult. The one that catches people out is permanent tire marking, which is preventable with a mat. Here is how to look after your floor.
